This is a journal entry I found today, while going through old notebooks, looking for blank pages. It’s dated 9/16/05, which is two months before I traveled to Washington, and almost two months before I ever met the womyn who brought me to Washington. In December, I traveled to Washington state, to gather my belongings from a storage unit on the Olympic Peninsula. The day before we left to drive home, I crossed the Puget Sound on the ferry with my best friend (and traveling companion), Raven. Shi captured this photograph.
